Pregnant and 30...EEEk!

So today I am 30!! Eeek I have no idea where the last 30 yrs of my life have gone never mind the last 10! It serious feels like yesterday I was graduating HS and going off to Nichols for my first year and now I am married to a boy I probably met the 2 or 3rd day of college and having his baby! Ha time certainly does fly by! (granted there was a lot of time between all this)

I would also like to add quickly how annoyed I am that getting older doesn't seem to matter to mike, in fact I think he likes it! And why is it that he keeps getting better with age and his grey hairs are distinguished looking! While god forbid a grey hair pops up on my head I either pull it out or dye it immediately LOL!

Okay so that rant out of the way turning 30 doesn't seem so bad. I am pretty sure life could not be any better at this moment, I am married to a great guy who knows that bling is always the best present and we are expecting our first child and I am actually choked up with the pride and joy I feel about all that is happening for our little family. (okay so that could be a little bit of the hormones as well ha) In less than a month we find out whether it is a little boy or girl that is coming our way...so I would say the excitement level for the Scanlon's of Canton is pretty high right now!

We celebrated my birthday Saturday night with an amazing dinner at Grill 23 and then drinks at Cuffs at the Back Bay Hotel...they were very nice and served me shirley temples in a martini glass so I felt like a grown up! (btw...I probably haven't had a shirley temple in at least 15 years and man I forgot how good they are!!) We even stayed out until Midnight! Huge night for me. The pic above was taken after dinner at Cuffs and okay yes I am totally slouchy and pushing out my belly to look like there is something there to take a picture of, at just over 15 weeks still no real belly to speak of but the boobs are real and a pretty fantastic perk! I didn't really think they had gotten that much bigger until I noticed that Michael can't stop staring at them...apparently he is enjoying the newest pregnancy perk as well. Neither of us expected Mike to be the drunk one on my 30th birthday ha but thanks to all the fruit juice that I haven't drank in months we both woke up with a headache on Sunday morning.

So all in all I think 30 is going to be my best year yet!!
