31 Weeks!

Just over 31 weeks and off to double holiday parties! We figure it is our last year pulling the double holiday parties, next year we will just have to pick one LOL! Was a fun night other than the time in the case which is pretty much excruciating pain in my back now. Was trying to explain it to Mike as I squirmed and changed positions for the 50th time and this is my best explanation. It feels like there is a shallow knife stabbed into my back and just when you start to get used to the pain of the knife in your back someone comes up and twists it just a little. LOL....sounds dramatic but it really is true!

So other than the car rides both parties were great and couldn't be more diffrent! The first was a kid friendly party complete with Santa Claus and the second an adult only party with drinking games LOL! Usually the drinking games are my thing but I had to pass this year for obvious reasons ha! And Mike didn't even get to take advantage of the DD because he had over indulged the night before and still hasn't fully recovered.

Today we got up and got our Christmas tree and busted out all our holiday decor. It is looking and smelling very festive now. And the baby didn't have to endure too much swearing during the putting up of the tree. Seriously it is very frustrating at the time but soooo funny after how difficult it is every year to get the damn tree to stand up without falling over and be moderately straight! I picked the first tree we saw and it looked perfect on the lot....now that it is home and up it seems a bit curved but hey another year we will remember the tree more than anything. Last year was the year of the light debacle ending with colored lights on the tree. This year the tree is slightly curved and now that I think about it maybe we are starting a Scanlon family tradition....it will be all the comedy on the quest for the perfect tree HA!
